A creative gift for the anniversary of Metafrax
Young Gubakha residents showed how they see the city's major enterprise in their drawings. In honor of the 70th anniversary, Metafrax Chemicals held a children's drawing contest titled "The history of the plant - the history of the city."
The initiator of the contest was the trade union organization of the enterprise. All young creative enthusiasts of Gubakha district were able to participate in it. The contest received more than 180 entries. The youngest artists are 5 years old, and the oldest are 17.
The children tried to show the connection between the plant and the city in their drawings. Each work became a genuine creative story. Only a small part of these stories, all of which simply did not fit, decorated the lobby of the Energetik Palace of Culture on the celebratory evening dedicated to Chemist's Day.
The jury selected several works in each of the four age categories. 27 painters were recognized as winners. The award ceremony took place on 1st of June in the park named after Yu. Gagarin during the festive program dedicated to the Children's Day. Konstantin Anufriev, Director of Organizational and Personnel Policy at Metafrax Chemicals JSC, and Aleksandr Grom, chairman of the company's trade union organization, congratulated the children on the holiday and the beginning of the summer break, thanked the contest participants for their commitment and vivid works, and presented the winners with diplomas and gifts from the company.
In the age category from 5 to 7 years old, Aleksandra Petrova and Innokenty Kolpashchikov took the first place, Konstantin Gavrichenko, Diana Yakovleva and Arseniy Arzamasov took the second place, Polina Gurova and Milana Chermoshentseva took the third place. In the category from 8 to 10 years old, the winner's diploma was awarded to Sofia Startseva, the second place was taken by Lala Krasnoperova, Vladimir Novikov, Stepan Garshenin and Victoria Gutauskas. Veronika Lebedeva, Arseniy Abramenko and Victoria Rzhevskaya took the third place.
Dinara Steshchenko and Sofia Mamuladze became the winners in the category from 11 to 13 years old. Denis Chekalov, Andrey Valyaev, Victoria Chuvasheva and Aleksandr Dolgushin took the second place, Mikhail Musalimov and Valeria Shabalina took the third. Elizaveta Cherney won the catogory from 14 to 17 years old, Karina Mamuladze and Aleksandra Yakushkina took the second place, and Anastasia Berdutina took the third place.
All other contest participants shall also receive diplomas and sweets from Metafrax. Everyone interested may view the works of the contestants at the Energetik Palace of Culture, where an exhibition of drawings is taking place.
