The gas rescue unit (GRU) of Metafrax Chemicals JSC became the leader of the annual review competition of the Russian Trade Union of Workers of Chemical Industries for the best sanitary-amenity services for workers among the chemical industry enterprises of the Perm region.

Aleksandr Grom, chairman of the primary trade union organization of the company, congratulated the GRU team on their victory and officially presented the diploma of the regional trade union committee and the award to Aleksey Kovalenko, deputy commander of the unit.

The competition commission, which traditionally included representatives of trade unions of chemical enterprises in the Kama region, headed by Aleksey Klein, chairman of the regional organization of the Russian Trade Union of Workers of Chemical Industries, visited Metafrax in June.Within the building of the gas rescue unit, which was put into operation in 2022, experts examined the lunch rooms, the shower room, the locker room, the recreation room, and checked the availability of necessary household appliances. Andrey Kukushkin, the commander of the gas rescue unit, showed the union leaders the museum of the GRU, the gym, an office for theoretical and practical exercises, and the training ground.

The company's gas rescuers are provided with equipment, devices, a base for practice of professional skills, as well as all conditions for recreation and work. The lunch rooms are equipped with modern household appliances and necessary utensils, there are coolers with drinking water, there is a sauna, a shower room, a locker room with individual lockers, and the amenities for washing and drying work clothes.

Trade union experts highly evaluated the sanitary-amenity conditions of the Metafrax's gas rescuers, noting not only the equipment, but also the order and cleanliness that the unit's men manage to successfully maintain. As a result, the commission of the regional committee of the Russian Trade Union of Workers of Chemical Industries gave the first place in the review competition to the GRU team.

Metafrax Chemicals annually participates in the review competition for sanitary-amenity conditions of industrial enterprises of the Perm region and regularly takes award-winning places, confirming the responsible attitude towards the health and comfort of staff.
