The development of human resources, the engagement and retention of young employees became one of the key topics of the forum. Based on the results of the monitoring for the best practices in supporting young professionals, experts from the Association of Working Youth have compiled a rating of enterprises that systematically and consistently build youth policy. Metafrax Chemicals topped this rating. During the forum, the award "The Best Enterprise of the Perm Territory for Youth" was presented to Yulia Istomina, lead career guidance specialist in the HR department.
Also at the forum, the company's youth team took part in the final of the third youth LEAN-championship "Efficiency and Competitiveness 2025". Ivan Frolov, team captain and shift process engineer of ammonia plant:
"I can't say that we lost. In the final, we competed with the strongest thrifty workers in the Perm Territory. This is a decent indicator for a young developing team! The fight was very intense. We started confidently and stayed in the top three until the last moment. The last contest was decisive, where we didn't have enough time and luck, the other teams were stronger here. For ourselves, we have discovered a new point of growth in directions that we had not thought about before. We will work on them."
Albert Khudaibirdin, Managing Director for Production at JSC Metafrax Chemicals:
"Metafrax Chemicals has traditionally been the general partner of the Perm Engineering and Industrial Forum. This is an effective platform for the exchange of experience and the search for new growth vectors. In the year of the 70th company’s anniversary, we’re acutely aware of our responsibility not only for production performance, but also for the development of the territory. We don’t separate ourselves from the region, we live and work here, and we invest in the development of the town and the region. Our projects in the field of career guidance, youth support and culture are proof of this. For us, this is a strategic investment in human and intellectual potential, which will ensure the competitiveness of the company, Gubakha district and the entire region for many years to come."
